Transgender (LGBT) is associated with and has attraction to other sins –Lusts and pride, 1 John 2:15-17 –Covetousness and materialism drive selfish desires of the heart (cf. drugs, manipulation), Ephesians 5:11 8 “What does this have to do with me?” Part 3

Do not think this is not your problem (not your fight), Matthew 12:30; 1 Corinthians 10:12; 2 Timothy 2:3-4 –Affected by the ungodly in the workplace, at school, in business…, cf. Revelation 13:16-17 –Don’t let down your guard due to neglect, apathy or pride, 1 Peter 5:8-9 –Prepare and decide now how you will stand and respond, 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Peter 1:13; 3:15 9 “What does this have to do with me?” Part 3

Remember, this is not about hating people, but about reaching them with the saving gospel, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Acts 2:37-38 –They need God (salvation from their sins) –They may need psychological counseling, too 10 “What does this have to do with me?” Part 3

Sin and its temptations are not insurmountable (1 Cor. 10:13) We must uphold the honor and distinction of male and female –Not destroy it by the longings, lewdness and lusts of sin, Romans 13:11-14 We choose our character and conduct –You choose the person you will be, and God holds you accountable, James 4: Why Gender Matters Part 3
