Some facts about Nashville Nashville is known either as Music City USA or Athens of the South. The city has architectural attractions like The Parthenon, which is the only full scale replica of the Greek temple in the world. The home of Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States, can be found in Nashville. Today, Nashville is still the center of country music and its growing economy attracts tourists, travelers, and business executives.

Parthenon

The city has a long tradition of influencing the development of country music in America and this can be seen in sites such as Music Row, the Ryman Auditorium, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
