A Dog’s Dairy in New York City This is a dog’s world. A Dog’s Dairy in New York City By Sophia Rose Kaufman

A Dog's Diary ''This is a dogs world''. There are all different dog breeds dominating the streets of New York City's luxurious Upper East Side. People often wonder, "How does the life of a New York City dog compared to a dog living in the suburbs?" Well....let's follow the life of Daisy, a Malshipoo living on the Upper East Side to answer that question. I wake up and stretch my legs. I get ready to start my day. I have to get dressed to go outside. Dogs in the suburbs don't seem to be as fashion conscious as dogs living on the Upper East Side. On an average day, I might be seen strolling on the sidewalks wearing a polo, a jacket or even a raincoat. I even have matching booties. I don't mind being the only mammal with four legs in my apartment, but there are times I like to hang out with other dogs. It's very easy to meet friends and have playdates. In my building alone, there are so many dogs I can interact with. In the suburbs, it isn't that easy since houses are very spread out. Carl Schurz has the best dog run in town. There is an enclosed area for little dogs and one for big dogs. I get to run around with no leash, while my owner sits on a bench. I love being sociable with other dogs. After the park, I have to get cleaned up. There are different groomers all over the Upper East Side. I stop at "Groomingdales" to get a haircut. They cut my hair, groom me and I leave there as white as snow with a pink gingham bow in my hair! I guess my life isn't so Ruff! It's time for a nap.

My name is Daisy. I’m a Malshipoo that resides in New York City’s Upper East Side.

In my spare time I model for Fetch Dog Fashions.

I get up every morning in my New York City apartment ready to eat my organic food and start my day!
