Draw-a-thon 5 students from Holy Family attended the Draw- a-thon hosted by the Joslyn Art Museum Saturday, March 20, The evening activities included several workshops led by Omaha area artists. The students enhanced their understanding of the creative process while honing their drawing and design skills. In addition to individual pieces, the approximately 100 students collaborated on several group drawings as well.

Gallery of Collaborative Work

Some of the topics included gesture drawing, positive and negative space relationships, objective and non- objective work, collage, and many more. At the end of the night, students displayed their work while enjoying pizza and pop, and were able to connect with each other.

The students came home having had an enjoyable experience that left them inspired and full of new ideas and approaches for their artwork.
