Their first written record is Constitution Act. This document was created in 1867 by the Canadian government. Another type of art that has been around for ages and is still practiced now is the art of carving Totem poles and building Inukshuks. They have arts from the aboriginal and First Nations people. These are Totem poles and faces carved in wood. They sent us a photo of a figure made of rock - called Inukshuks. They built it to find good hunting areas easier.
