SWx Products Team 3 The Space Weather Product Team (SWPT) consists of relevant subject matter experts and GOES-R program engineers supporting the effective handover/management of the GOES-R series space weather sensors and validation of GOES-R SWx L1b products. The SWPT operates under the auspices of the CWG but reports directly to the POSST Operations Manager. Principal Duties of the SWPT are to: –Develop procedures for Post-Launch Tests (PLTs) of the GOES-R sensors and Post-Launch Product Tests (PLPTs) for GOES-R L1b products. –Conduct analyses from assigned PLTs and PLPTs to verify nominal instrument performance and validate L1b products. –Report instances of L1b product non-compliance or anomalous behavior. –Advise Program on the efficacy of GS performance monitor tools at OSPO. –Provide needed information and support to Program and Project system integration, operations, transition and handover reviews.
