Doing Business with IOP As a not-for-profit small society publisher we have more flexibility on contracts and licensing. All licenses can be signed by our Business Director in England, and/or our CEO for the Americans in Philadelphia. IOP has never had any contract litigation with our consortia partners. IOP has never had a consortia partner in the Americas cancel or not renew their license. IOP prefers 3 year deals, but can be flexible when the customer requests something different.
