Answer the question how? e.g He speaks slowly 1. Of manner

Where something happens e.g. The cars were parked outside. 2. Of place

When? How often? e.g. I want it now. They deliver the newspaper daily. 3. Of time

How much? To what degree? To what extent? e.g. She entirily agrees with him. The bottle is almost full, nearly empty. 4. Of degree

How many times? How often? e.g. She has always been honest. 5. Of frequency
