Association of Textile, Apparel and Materials Professionals Form a Student Chapter! To form an AATCC Student Chapter you will need: A faculty advisor A minimum of 10 AATCC Student Members Student Chapters with 15 AATCC Student Members or more receive free membership for their Faculty Advisor AATCC Student Chapter officers can get one free year of AATCC membership for each 15 AATCC Student Members in their chapter

Association of Textile, Apparel and Materials Professionals Form a Student Chapter! AATCC Student Chapters can name themselves anything they like but must have “AATCC” in the name Must have written bylaws, see Student Chapter Handbook Student Chapter Handbook Must elect officers (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are required, but others may be elected or appointed as necessary)

Association of Textile, Apparel and Materials Professionals Form a Student Chapter! Write a letter of petition to the Membership committee and Board of Directors. Include the following: –Letter indicating that the members wish to form a chapter –List of at least 10 current AATCC Student Members at the school –Letter from a school faculty member indicating willingness to serve as advisor to the chapter (The proposed advisor must be a current senior or associate member of AATCC.) –Copy of the chapter bylaws (see Student Chapter Handbook for sample) Student Chapter Handbook
