After the events of Iliad and the death of Hector, the Trojan war was still not over. Neither the Greek’s nor the Trojan could seem to win, and then one of the Greek kings, Odysseus, of the Ithaca had a very good idea.

The Greeks found out a way to get inside the village of Troy. They made a giant horse, they called it the Trojan horse. The horse was big enough for some of the Greeks to go in it and hide. The Greeks pretended to sail away and leave the horse for them as a gift.

One of the men from Troy saw the horse and he also saw that the Greeks left(but they were hiding inside the Trojan horse.) All of the other Greeks were hiding around the corner.

When the man saw the horse he yelled for the Emperor of Troy to look at the horse. After he looked at the horse he decided that the Greeks have left, also it must be something from the gods. So they tried to fit it in the village gate but it didn’t work. So they also had to wreck the gate.

After they got it inside the village it started to get dark, so they went to sleep and that’s when the Greeks from inside the Trojan horse come out and helped the others get inside the village. After that the Greeks attacked Troy. The Greeks had won the war between Troy and the Greeks.
