Apprenticeships, Learning & Skills Traineeship Plus (formerly Internship Plus) –Level 1-2 work-based learning programme (pre Apprenticeship) –CiC/LAC priority, extending to other priority groups in 2015/16 –Prince’s Trust qualification base –Employability, personal development, English and maths, placement-specific qualifications, e.g. Food Hygiene –540 hrs. Study Programme/26 wks. (3-4 days work, 1 day study) –EFA funded and OFSTED regulated –£57 p.w. bursary plus attendance and progression bonuses –Travel and equipment support

Apprenticeships, Learning & Skills Apprenticeships (HCC) –Level 2-4 work-based learning programme –Open recruitment (Apprentice First policy) –HYIP Priority year olds, Traineeship Plus graduates guaranteed an interview –12-months (min) – 3 years –SFA funded and OFSTED regulated –Employee status, i.e. not students/trainees –Third Sector scheme in collaboration with HIOWCF

Hampshire Futures Priorities –Future All programme - aim to achieve ‘full participation’ by young people, 16-18, Inc. RPA to 18, target 3% NEET by 2016/17 –Shift the pattern of participation to support future skills needs, Inc. increasing take-up of Apprenticeships (and Traineeships) –Employer engagement and investment to support skills development –Public sector skills requirements, Inc. better collaboration with District and Unitary LAs, and use of procurement and planning mechanisms to generate youth employment opportunities –Skills capital programme (Future Skills Centre)
