PTSD is a mental condition that effects you after a traumatic, or scary experience. It is an anxiety disease that effects you mentally, socially, and sometimes even physically. PTSD is also known as shell-shock and battle fatigue. Picture from disorder-idUSN

PTSD has many causes, some more disturbing than others. These causes include:  Graphic instances of violence, as in war.  Sexual abuse.  Kidnapping.  Natural disasters.  Sudden death of a loved one.  Childhood neglect.  Assault.  Car or plane crashes.  Causes from traumatic-stress-disorder Causes of PTSD

The symptoms of PTSD include:  Reliving: people go back into there memories and relive their traumatic experience.  Avoiding: people end up avoiding others so they can be in solitude.  Increased arousal: people have more intense emotions.  Symptoms from traumatic-stress-disorder Symptoms of PTSD
