West & Central Africa

Overview West and Central Africa embraces 24 countries with more than 500 least-reached people groups remaining. The countries of Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Gambia, Mauritania, and Niger lead the way with over 80% of their populations least-reached. Still, in terms of number of people, Nigeria has over 45 million people least-reached, although they represent only 34.7% of the total population of that nation. The church has grown rapidly especially in places like Nigeria which is now also a sending base for missionaries to other continents One of the greatest challenges is AIDS which now overshadows the future of the entire continent and added to that, the specter of poverty looms large over much of this region.

Prayer Point 1 MIRACLES OF HEALING & DELIVERANCE: Pray that miracles of healing and deliverance even for those battling HIV/AIDS would open doors for faith among the more than 500 Least- Reached Peoples of West and Central Africa.

Prayer Point 2 POWER OVER THE DEMONIC ACTIVITY: Pray that believers walk in the Holy Spirit’s power over all demonic depression, oppression, and attack of every sort, demonstrating that Jesus is truly King of kings and Lord of lords on earth and in heaven.

Prayer Point 3 BINDING OF ALL BACKLASH OF THE ENEMY: Pray that believers apply their authority in Jesus Christ to bind all backlashes of the enemy as they work to penetrate the strongholds of darkness to deliver the captives and see them transferred to the Kingdom of Light of God’s Dear Son Jesus.

Prayer Point 4 BREAKING GENERATIONAL CURSES: Pray that generational curses that have come as a result of idolatry, immorality, injustice, and independence from God will be broken and believers walk in the true freedom of Jesus Christ as a testimony to those who do not yet believe.

Prayer Point 5 INTEGRITY, TRANSPARENCY & HUMILITY Pray that the Church leaders and Christians in Africa will walk in integrity, transparency and humility thus being a moral force to be reckoned with.

Eastern Europe/Eurasia

Overview Eastern Europe and Eurasia are comprised of 20 countries with 188 least-reached peoples remaining among them. Serbia and Montenegro lead with 66.8% of their population, almost 7 million people remaining least- reached or less than 2% evangelical and less than 5% adherents to any form of Christianity. However, in sheer numbers, Russia exceeds them with over 12 million least-reached people in 72 different people groups. The church overall in Eastern Europe and Eurasia is small and struggling but there are rays of hope in places like Ukraine.

Prayer point 1 DELIVERANCE FROM ADDICTIONS: Pray God sets the captives free from bondages to addictions such as alcohol and drug abuse, sexual addictions, pornography, and gambling in order that they may be as lights in the world, examples of God’s grace and goodness in Jesus.

Prayer point 2 THE INTERVENTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: Pray that the Holy Spirit searches for the lost of the remaining 188 Least- Reached Peoples relentlessly and demonstrates to them God’s goodness that leads them to repentance.

Prayer point 3 BOLDNESS: Pray that the Church in this region will be bold and fearless in preaching Gospel- God’s power unto salvation.

Prayer point 4 INVISIBLE MEANS OF SUPPORT: Pray for God to pour out His heavenly provision through those whose hearts are completely His so that He supplies and multiplies all resources needed for reaching those who have not yet heard the good news.

Prayer Point 5 THE SPIRIT OF PRAYER Pray that the spirit of prayer will sweep through the church and revive it.

Prayer Point 6 LABORERS Pray for laborers for this volatile environment that is ripe for the good news. „Who Shall I send, Who will go for us?”
