Work Plan To Include in the National Commodity Security Plan [Insert team name] [INSERT DATE] [INSERT PRESENTER NAME]

What will we do? 1.Identify proposed activities and tasks that will be incorporated into a national CS Plan (if it exists) in an Excel format 2.A presentation summarizing proposed strategies and activities (An example is included in this presentation.)

Identify Desired Results [ The CS Plan has defined the desired result for improving family planning supply and demand in the country. This result is suggested as a result indicator, assuring that it is specific, measurable, appropriate, realistic and timely.] Result Indicator: Annual increase of the prevalance of use in the population with unmet demand (increase of use of contraceptive methods by 1.3% in youth younger than 19 years of age and 0.33% in the group years of age, in seven regions) for 2011

Strategic Objectives [Strategic objectives of the Plan help to achieve the result indicator. Based on the discussion in your group, write the activities and tasks that help achieve the strategic objectives described in the plan (excel file) to enable us to overcome obstacles identified in your group work. See all of the strategic objectives in the Excel worksheet.] First Strategic Objective: Strengthen advocacy activities for CS in the different subsectors

Example: Work plan [Now your team is ready to identify some activities that can help you fulfill each strategic objective of the CS Plan. Based on the group discussion, write the activities that could help achieve each strategic objective. For each activitiy, describe tasks, inidicate which are the institutions or organizations with technical and installed capacity to lead and contribute to that activity. First develop this table in the Excel worksheet and then in your presentation.]
