The Future Car By: Antonia Pulido Mariana Faccini

Introduction Everyday there are new improvements and discoveries in technology. From small ones to big ones. The human always tries to find a way to update or modernize things. The car industry is one that is rapidly modernizing everyday. New types of cars are being created all for a more modern purpose. Here we will present to you a new type of car never been seen. Its one that will improve the everyday lives of many people.

Our Company F&P is a company dedicated to revolutionize the typical car. It’s purpose is to find better and newer ways for cars. New project: The sugarsun car. It’s based on a regular car model, but the only difference is that it is powered by sugar and solar energy. We are the fist company ever to present this type of fuel system for a car.

The Sugar and the Sun The sugar fuel is in charge of running the engine and in turn, is also in charge of providing electricity for the battery by giving power to drive the alternator. The battery can also be charged by the solar cells on the panels that can convert the solar energy into electricity. The solar radiation on the panels is also used for the heating system.

How is This Done? Objective: Convert sugars into hydrogen, which could power vehicles containing hydrogen fuel cells. To make the fuel: Combining sugars, water, and a cocktail of powerful enzymes to produce hydrogen and carbon dioxide under mild reaction conditions. Its reported that this is the most efficient way to produce hydrogen.

Advantages of This New Fuel It’s cheaper than buying regular gas and is very efficient. This new fuel solves our problem about pollution in the environment. Sugar/Glucose (and solar energy) is a renewable resource so we can use all we want of it.

Model of the Car As you can see from the photo, this car is very sporty and useful for places with harsh conditions (i.e. unpaved roads, rocky paths, etc.) It has a 4x4 traction for an excellent performance. On the top you can see the solar panels from where the sun’s radiation is received to make the heating for the car.

Interior It’s a truly unique car, because Its not only a tough sporty car, but its also very luxurious. The interior is all made of leather or you can custom-make the interior material to your taste. On the outside you’ll be traveling in rocky paths, unpaved, or holed roads but from the inside you won’t even Feel it. The TVs are state of the art high definition. Each seat comes with its own Ipad to control its position, massages, and TV settings. The windows are polarized. Our Slogan is: Luxury on the inside, Sporty on the out.

Site of Manufacturing The production of this car will be based in the country-side where the clients could get an easy access to sugar (sugar farms). This car is manufactured here because it is especially made for rural conditions and our top clients live here. In case you go out of an area with sugar farms for example, the city, you can stop by in any grocery store and buy sugar for your fuel. As you can see, this car can also be very suitable for people living in cities.

Types of Energy Used by This Car Mechanical Energy: When the car moves it has kinetic energy. This is the energy that makes the car move. Sound: The radio emits sound. The sugar fuel runs the engine, which gives power to drive the alternator, which then supplies electricity for the battery, and the battery supplies the radio. Chemical: The combination of the sugar with the enzymes and the water to produce the hydrogen. Thermal: The sun’s radiation creates heat. For whenever you feel very cold and want to get warmer, the car has a heating system that’s powered by the sun’s radiation on the roof panels. Electromagnetic: The electromagnetic waves that come from the sun hit the solar panels. Electrical- The sugar fuel is converted into electricity for the car’s battery. Another way this car uses electrical energy is by the solar cells on the solar panels that can convert the sun’s energy into electricity for the battery.

Price The estimated cost for this prestigious car is approximately $355,000. This price is NOT negotiable.
