Computer Science Education Week Anthony Wayne MS

One Hour of Code December 9 th marks the start of Computer Science Education Week. Anthony Wayne will celebrate by participating in a fun activity called “One Hour of Code”.

One Hour of Code Throughout next week students will spend one period of their Social Studies classes in the Computer Lab or Media Center learning how to program!

One Hour of Code Custom made tutorials will guide students as they work to build games and/or interactive cards.

One Hour of Code Students are encouraged to come to school with ear buds or headphones on the day their class is scheduled for the lab or Media Center.

One Hour of Code After completing the first activity (an Angry Bird game) students will use their ear buds or headphone to listen to the tutorial of their choice.

One Hour of Code Your teacher will let you know when your class is scheduled in the Computer Lab or Media Center. Don’t forget your headphones! Have fun and enjoy learning how to program!
