Story Elements Characters people animals things The setting and characters are introduced at the beginning of a story. Setting when where

Story Elements Plot the events that happen in the story Problem an obstacle faced by a character in the story The plot and problem are in the middle of a story.

Story Elements Solution How the problem is solved The solution is found in the end of a story.

Sequencing Story Events Let’s practice putting the story parts in order. Center 1 Center 2 Work together or with a partner to put the beginning, middle, and end of the story in order. Click and drag the story part to the correct place. First, arrange the bones in order to make a story. Next, write the story in order on the dog book. Then, retell the story by reading it to a partner.
