Using AutoFill Used to quickly complete a series or sequence 1. Type first two numbers in the series (ex. 5, 10) 2. Select those two entries 3. Using fill handle, click and drag to complete the series
Wrap Text Home tab, Alignment group, click Wrap Text
Insert and Delete Columns 1. Select entire column by clicking on the column letter 2. Right click and select Insert/Delete *Excel inserts columns to the left.
Sort Data 1. Select entire spreadsheet (except titles, column headings, column totals) 2. Data tab, click Sort 3. Uncheck “My data has headers” 4. Select column to sort by 5. Select sort order Ascending – alphabetical, A-Z, lowest to highest Descending – highest to lowest, Z-A 6. Click OK – make sure all data is correct **To add a secondary sort, complete steps 1-5 then click Add Level
Fit to One Page Page Layout tab, Scale to Fit group, select 1page next to Width and 1 page next to Height
