Plant O’ Graphers Square of Life Project By: Nicole, Nick, Adam, and Maya

Introduction Welcome! Our school is SBA (St. Bartholomew Academy) located in Scotch Plains, NJ. We are a group of fifth grade kids called the Plant O’ Graphers. We dug around our school convent and found everything from bugs to birds. Our square consisted of a tall oak tree, some moss, and patches of grass. We hope you enjoy our project and think it is educational!

Results Biotic Moss Spider Grass Tree Worm Weed Roly Poly Bug Bee Abiotic Glass Rock Leaves Nut Stick Plastic Bird Droppings Chalk Clay Metal Dead Flower Feather Dirt

Who We Compared With Our group compared with Quatama School in Hillsboro, Oregon. We were surprised at the differences but also at the similarities. For biotic, both our outcomes were similar. But for abiotic, our group surprisingly found more than the school we compared with. A picture of the Quatama School. SBA!
