Manufacturing capabilities Manufacturing capabilities are located at three enterprises of Holding – CJSC URBO (Yekaterinburg), Plant of modular packaged units, OJSC (Tyumen), Neftemash factory, OJSC (Otradny). Complete drilling rigs production actual capabilities – up to 30 drilling rigs a year, in the short term – up to 50 pcs. a year. All the produced units of the drilling equipment (pumps, swivels, derricks, hook blocks, crown blocks, drawworks, rotors) are tested under load on facility. Drilling rigs are assembled on two check assembly sites in Yekaterinburg. Up to seven heavy drilling rigs can be assembled on the sites at the same time.

Offshore drilling equipment production history History of design, production and delivery of Uralmash equipment for offshore drilling began in 1970. From 1973 to 2011, in cooperation with shipbuilders and shipyards, 38 sets of main drilling equipment for offshore drilling were produced : 10 sets for fixed platforms; 16 sets for jack-up platforms; 11 sets for semi-submersible platforms; 1 set for drilling ship. 10 drilling equipment sets 160D for fixed platforms; The main customer ordering platforms was the Ministry of oil and gas industry of the USSR.
