ROTARY CLUBS IN DISTRICTS 9110, 9200, 9270, 9320, 9350 AND 9400 PARTNERING WITH ROTARIANS FOR FIGHTING AIDS (RFFA) AND THE COCA-COLA AFRICA FOUNDATION ROTARY FAMILY HEALTH DAY in Uganda, Nigeria and Republic of South Africa on 9-11 May 2013 JOIN HANDS TO IMPACT THE HEALTH OF THE NATION.

THE PROCESS - DISTRICT

ROTARY CLUBS IN DISTRICT 9400 – RSA ONLY Clubs to diarise 9-11 May 2013 to participate in this GREAT event. Clubs to research in local area resources available for sites, partners with Local Government, Local Department of Health and Local NGO’s for technical support Clubs to partner with other local Rotary Clubs to discuss possibility of joining forces Clubs to appoint a Club Co-ordinator to lead the process and set up a local committtee of all partners in the area for the event Clubs to coordinate Health days 3- 4 Rotarians per site each day Club Co-ordinator to report back bi-weekly to District RFHD Co-ordinator Liaise with AG and Area Co-ordinator

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN AT A RFHD SITE Amongst the approved services to be rendered to local communities by clubs and local partners are:  Family Counselling, Condom Promotion and Distribution  Polio Immunization  HIV and AIDS Counselling and Testing  Cervical Cancer Screening  TB Screening  Diabetes and Blood Pressure Testing with Counselling  Distribution of Sanitary Towel Packets  De-worming for all children and Vitamin A Supplements  Malaria screening and Nets, Eye Testing,  Dehydration treatment packs, and dental services Clubs can add services to the above list It is suggested to focus on only a few of the services
