PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY MoDoNER GUWAHATI Name of work: Construction of Hangars and Apron at LGBI Airport. Date of Fund Sanction – 06/02/13. Sanctioned Estimate Amount – Rs.32.06 crores. Scope of Work – Construction of 3 Hangars (1 for A-321 and 2 for ATR-72 – Each accommodate 2 ATRs) Connecting Apron. Ancillary works like Power House, Sump, OH Tank Road, Wall, etc. Status as on June 2013 - Work Awarded for C/o 3 No. of Hangars and connecting Apron Award Amount - Rs. 23.16 crores. Physical Progress - 35% Financial Progress - Rs.7.50 crores. PDC - March,2014. Ancillary works in Planning – PDC Sept.2014.

PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY MoDoNER DIBRUGARH Name of Work:- Extension of Runway to 7500 ft, construction of Isolation bay with link taxiway and allied works. Date of fund sanction:- 06/02/2012. Sanctioned Estimate Amount:- Rs. 56.34 crores. Scope of Work. Extension of Runway from 6000 ft to 7500 ft i/c shoulder, RESA, etc. Providing Perimeter wall, Perimeter road, Perimeter lighting and watch towers for the extension portion. Basic strip grading and drainage for the extension portion. Construction of Isolation Bay & link taxiway. Ground lights, CAT-I approach light for Rway-05, SAP lights for Rwy-23. Shifting of Glidepath & Allied works. Shifting of HT/LT line, water supply line, crossing road etc. Status as on June 13:- State Govt. have to acquire 32 acres of land for the basic strip of extension portion of runway without which it is not possible to get DGCA clearance for the project. State Govt. has issued notification. AAI is parallely taking up actions for carrying out preparatory works like diversion of road, HT/LT line etc.

PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY MoDoNER JORHAT Name of work: Extension of Apron Date of Fund Sanction – 06/02/13. Sanctioned Estimate Amount – Rs. 9.08 crores. Scope of Work – Present Apron can accommodate 2 ATRs. This is inadequate. Apron will be extended to facilitate 4 A-320 Aircrafts at a time. One Taxiway also will be made connecting the extended portion of Apron to Runway to enhance operational efficiency. Status as on June 2013 Work Awarded on - Sept.2012 Award Amount - Rs.8.11 crores. Physical Progress - 90% Financial Progress - Rs. 6.50 crores. PDC - Sept.2013.

PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY MoDoNER IMPHAL Name of work: Construction of Boundary Wall surrounding the newly acquired land. Date of Fund Sanction – 06/02/13. Sanctioned Estimate Amount – Rs.14.81 crores. Scope of Work – Govt. of Manipur has handed over 640 Acres (Approx.) of land, free of cost to AAI, for development of the Airport. To protect this land from encroachment, a boundary wall of Approx. 7 km. length is being constructed. Due to poor soil strength and water logging terrain the wall is designed as RCC framed one. Status as on June 2013 - Work Awarded on - Aug.2011 Award Amount - Rs.15.10 crores. Physical Progress - 85% Financial Progress - Rs.9 crores. PDC - Dec.2013. To be declared International Airport.(International Operations to start in near future).

PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY MODONER BARAPANI (SHILLONG) Name of work – Safety & Security Infrastructure Date of Fund Sanction – 06/02/2013. Sanctioned Estimate Amount – Rs.28.45 crores. Scope of work: Providing Perimeter Wall for newly acquired land C/o Perimeter road along the perimeter Wall. C/o Watch Towers for Perimeter Wall. C/o Fire Station cum Technical Block. Status as on June,2013 - Govt. of Meghalaya has handed over 192 Acres of land for development. In anticipation of fund sanction by NEC AAI started C/o Perimeter Wall from Jan.2011 with award amount of Rs.5.93 crores. Work stopped by villagers from March,2012 stating non-payment of compensation by State Govt. Critical issue -- to be immediately resolved; else it will effect all other works. Perimeter road, Perimeter lighting and watch tower can start only after resolving the above issue. For c/o Fire Station cum Technical Block and city side development works 32 Acres land from Army is required. MoD is ready to give this if State Govt. can provide equal land.

PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY MODONER TEZU (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) Name of work: Development of Tezu Airport (Arunachal Pradesh) Project Sanction – MoDoNER sanctioned the project on 18/01/10 for an amount of Rs.79 crores. 100% CSG Scheme. Scope of Work – Airport is being upgraded / Developed for operation of ATR-72 type of aircrafts C/o New Terminal Building of peak hour capacity 100D + 100A. Extension of Runway including strengthening of existing. Construction of Apron i/c strengthening of existing Apron. Construction of Compound Wall. Construction of Control Tower and other structures. Status as on June,2013 The overall physical progress of the Project is 15%. Financial Progress 11.62 crores. Boundary Wall completed on 21/01/13. Pavement works, Terminal Building and all other allied works in progress. PDC of the Project Dec.2014.

GREENFIELD PROJECT SANCTIONED BY GOI PAKYONG (SIKKIM) Name of work: Construction of Greenfield Airport at Pakyong. Project Sanction – Government sanctioned the project in Oct.2008 with a project cost of Rs.309.46 crores (90% Budgetary Grant from GOI and 10% AAI). Scope of Work – Airport designed to handle ATR-72 type of aircrafts. Runway of size 1700 x 30m, Apron for 2 ATR-72 . C/o Terminal Building for 100 pax capacity. C/o Retaining Wall, Drainage System, etc. C/o Control Tower and other ancillary structures. Status as on June,2013 All the works are in progress. Overall physical progress – 74% Overall PDC – December 2014

Assistance Sought AAI request release of funds from the DONER/NEC for completed / in progress / planned projects irrespective of DPR. Development requirement of NER ----- New proposed schemes be taken up on priority. Develop Guwahati as Hub in North East to boost air traffic and Cargo. New Terminal buildings at Guwahati, Silchar, Imphal and Jorhat for sustained growth. Provision of Hangers at Guwahati, Agartala, Dibrugarh & Imphal. AAI request earlier resolution of land acquisition issues with respective State Govt.’s.
