In Australia New Year’s activities suit traditionally under the open sky

In Australia 1 January is weekend. Most Australians accept traditional picnics and beach parties at this day, as well as rodeos and carnivals for lovers of surfing. The Parties usually end up only 6 January.

New year in Australia is celebrated in summer. Because in January in the southern hemisphere there is a hot, sunny weather.

What is unique though is something that most Australians are starting to dream of. That is a Christmas of sunshine, surf and sand. Although to many Europeans this may seem strange, to many Australians it's now the only Christmas worth dreaming of.

Australians are fortunate more than others, because they are the first celebrate the New year at the planet. Discos, pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels are already overcrowded before a week the New year in Australia.

New year can become a real adventure in Australia: hot weather, the sea, the mixture of European traditions and local flavor will not leave anyone indifferent.

As soon as the Church bell strikes midnight, Australians are accepted by tradition loudly congratulate each other. They beat drums, blow horns, whistles and Sumerki, and those who improvised a little just screaming their heads off, different greetings

Fans of "live" concerts also have something to do. In late December and early January the famous Falls Festival passes in Australia. There are more than 30 scenes with the club, popular and alternative music. Concerts stop only at on January 1for the explosion of the New Year's fireworks.

Australians celebrate New Year noisy and fun. Even if they intend to stay at home to celebrate the New year, there is no doubt that how they celebrated, will know all the neighbors not only in their house, but across the street.

Happy New Year!
