Bar-A-Day Bar-A-Day: Goals: Each day this week, you will be expected to write at least one stanza (bar) of an ongoing poem. Starting tomorrow, you will have time in class to do so, but it will also be part of your homework. Goals: Create a poetry magazine Each student must keep a “poetry notebook” of their random thoughts, observations, etc.
Closing Summary Circle: As we circle up in the center of the room, share something that you wrote, ask for feedback, or reflect on today’s lesson.
