Introduction  Sacred Scripture repeatedly speaks of the wrath of God being poured out upon the wicked (Rom. 1:18-20; 2 Pet. 2:1-9).  Some question the goodness of God, saying “How could a loving God destroy so many innocent people?”  The obvious response is, “Such individuals were not innocent.”  Modern values stress diversity and tolerance, but God emphasizes the need for righteousness (Prov. 14:34; Psa. 107:33-34).
