Inactive IndefinitelyTurns off notification for an indefinite period of time. Change to ‘Active’ to enable user to respond to alarms. Inactive TemporarilySpecifies a specific time period within which the user will not be able to respond to alarms. Requires a ‘From’ and ‘Until’ date. Dates are inclusive. Inactive SubstitutedAlmost the same as ‘Inactive Temporarily’ except a substitute user is also required, in addition to ‘From’ and ‘Until.’

Functional tasks Based on user’s role and responsibility Permissions are assigned individually, not bundled Operational Global level – Perform tasks enterprise-wide; access to all centers and center-related data in the Navigation tree Center level – Perform tasks and access data only within the assigned center (or subcenter) in the Navigation tree Standard roles Operator – manages alarms ReliaTel Administrator – sets up and maintains all administrative aspects of the system; access to the Administration module. All rights reserved. ® Basic Administrator Training – Release Adding Users Adding a User – Permission Matrix Individual permissions and functions 13 PermissionFunction Access Enables user to use the AccessPlus feature to access device consoles directly Admin Global – Enables user to open the Administration module (General Administration and KB Administration) to perform administrative tasks for the system. Center – Enables user to view the Navigation tree, access Performance Reporting, and edit center and entity states. Alarm Enables user to open the Alarm List, Performance Reporting, and Performance and Voice Quality dashboard; acknowledge and clear alarms, enter notes, and change severity. Browse Enables user to open the Performance Reporting module and the Performance and Voice Quality dashboards; view entity logging data. Operate Enables user access the Navigation tree and view the Performance and Voice Quality dashboards; create filters for the Navigation tree, and view and edit center and entity details. KB Admin Open and administer all aspects of the Alarm Knowledgebase. This is the only administrative function; access to General Administration is excluded. Extended View Enables user to add or remove portlets displayed in the Performance dashboard; create and save private, non-shareable layouts for the dashboard.
