This TV series is about teen drama that takes place in Orange County, California. It focuses on the fictional lives of a group of teenagers and their families residing in the rich community of Newport Beach. Introduction

The setting is in Newport Beach, Orange County in California. Most of the filming was filmed in the Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles region. A majority of the beach scenes were filmed in Redondo Beach and Torrance. Setting

Ryan Atwood He is a troubled teenager from Chino who is thrust into the privileged community of Newport Beach, California after his mother, Dawn Atwood, throws him out of their family home.
