Of Kenya's 42 tribes, the Masai are one of the most well known, particularly since they offer a glimpse of traditional Kenyan culture. The general health of the community is poor. Their houses are made of wood branches, cow dung, and polythene paper. Nutrition and food hygiene are also a concern. The Masai continue to rely on their traditional staples: milk, blood, and meat (eaten mainly by the men) for their nutrition.

Ed has completed a number of educational, agricultural and building projects in a remote area of Kitui, Kenya, living and working among the Kamba tribe. In February of 2008, Ed began his solo projects to aide poor Masai women and children living in Athi River, Kenya. So lets help him do another. Why should we help?

 Just for them to get to school, sometimes it’s an 8 kilometer (5 miles) walk.  We need a school so that the kids in eluaai can have a good education in there early lives.  Many Masai children are not going to school until the age of ten or eleven, if at all.  These students are far behind and are placed in classes with much younger students

 The foundation continued to meet with elders and they indicated that the foundation could use the current church as a temporary beginning of a school at the site.  So we need to get them a real school and a better education.  Education is often the best and most expedient path toward improvement but this is an equally complex and difficult problem.

Every thing helps, to learn more, go to When on web site, go to students at the top of the screen to see the school we are making and how much you can help. Also on the home screen there is a “donate” button. You can help change these kid’s lives.
