Where in the world is Kenya? Kenya is a country in East Africa that lies on the equator. With the Indian Ocean to its South-East, its bordered by Tanzania to the South, Uganda to the West, South Sudan to the North-West, Ethiopia to the North and Somalia to the North-East.

Nairobi is a big city and also the capital city of Kenya.

What language do the people in Kenya speak???? The people in Kenya speak: Kiswahili, Swahili and English. What different types of languages can you speak???

Kip Keino Kip Keino is one of Kenya's best long distance runners. Kip was born in Kipsamo and grew up to be a fantastic runner. Kip has won 7 gold medals, 3 silvers and one bronze. So in total he has won 11 medals not just at the Olympics.

David Rudisha David Rudisha is also one of Kenya best long distance runners along with Kip Keino. David Rudisha's full name is David Lekuta Rudisha. He has won 5 golds and no silver or bronze! So that means he only has 5 medals.

Medals in Kenya Kenya has won 75 medals 23 gold, 28 silver and 24 bronze. The most decorated athlete from Kenya is runner Kip Keino who won 4 medals in Bejing in 2008. He won 2 gold and 2 silver.
