 Primary, secondary and high school education is compulsory for all children in Turkey and free of charge in state schools.  Turkish high school educations aims are general or specific areas trainings of students between the ages of High school prepares students to the professions and higher education according to their trends and abilities.  Higher education is divided into two according to the difficulty. 1-Faculty (college)= 4 years education (some faculties 5-6 years) 2-Academy = 2 years education. When students passed to the class 10, they choose a field according to the their class 9 points averege.

 Modular system is used as a method of vocational education in high schools.  When students come to the fourth (last) class at high school, they work in private or state-owned firms for 3 days of the week (internship training). They continue their lessons at their school other 2 days.  Every week, a vocational teacher visits to firm where some students work for and checks development of the students. Afterwards teachers report situation to the school administration with a document every week.  Students prepare an internship file for their work. This file is evaluated for each period with a mark. This mark is included in the student's General grade point average.  Students earn %30 of the formal minimum salary from their firms.  Students health insurances is paid by the state.
