Important Note: For an elective to run on the timetable there needs to be a substantial number of students wishing to do that course Where only a few students pick a particular course it may not be possible to run that course. Students who miss out on a course for this reason will receive their reserve preference

How to choose an elective Elective subjects are offered as part of the Stage 5 curriculum to enable students to choose an area of study that is of interest to them It is not necessary to choose electives on the basis of the career path you wish to follow Do NOT choose electives on the basis of:  What your friends are doing  Because you think you’ll need it for your career  Because you think it will be easy

The RoSA is a cumulative credential in that it allows students to accumulate their academic results until they leave school. records completed Stage 5 and Preliminary Stage 6 courses and grades, and participation in any uncompleted Preliminary Stage 6 courses. is of specific use to students leaving school prior to the HSC.

The RoSA Any time a student wants an up-to-date snapshot of their academic progress, a transcript called a Student eRecord can be accessed via Students Online and printed or ed.Students Online Students who go on to complete the HSC will see all their Stage 6 (Year 11 and 12) courses and results on their HSC.
