History of ATLS ® in the Saudi Arabian Chapter Introduced to Riyadh in October 1991 and consists of 15 Centers 13 centers in the Saudi Kingdom 1 center in Bahrain (1998) 1 center in Qatar (2000) In 2005, 47 ATLS ® courses were conducted in the Saudi Arabian Chapter

Number of ATLS ® courses conducted at each center since their establishment until December 2005 is 400 Course Statistics

Total number of ATLS ® Providers & Instructors Trained in all 15 centers from Oct 1991 to Dec 2005 is 5,532

Number of ATLS ® Faculty Trained Course Directors = 40 Instructors = 401 Educators = 1 Coordinators = 34

History of ATCN Program in the Saudi Chapter Introduced in Riyadh, KSA in September 2001 Under the auspices of the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) in cooperation with COT of the ACS Designed especially for nurses The Saudi Chapter has 3 ATCN centers: Riyadh, Doha & Bahrain

History of PHTLS Program in the Saudi Chapter Introduced in Riyadh, KSA in May 2000 Under the auspices of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) in cooperation with the COT of the ACS. Designed for all health care professionals The Saudi Chapter has 4 PHTLS Centers: Riyadh, Dhahran, Makkah & Bahrain
