THE BRAIN The brain is quit a small organ, but has a very big job of controlling your body.

FACANATING FACTS The human brain is like a powerful computer that stores our memory and controls how we as humans think and react. Scientists still don’t know what all the parts do! as the brain evolved it become more and more complicated. The brain contains billions of nerve cells that send and receive information around the body to help the body move.

More facts did you know that the human brain weighs only 3 pounds and is about the size of a large grapefruit? Your brain is full of billions of microscopic cells. Many of these cells are special messengers called neurons. Neuron means "nerve cell.“ We have about 100 billion neurons in our body. To picture the size of a neuron, think about the fact that 30,000 neurons can fit on the head of a pin!

WHAT Neurons ARE The human body is made up of trillions of cells. Cells of the nervous system, called nerve cells or neurons, they are specialized to carry messages through an electrochemical process. The human brain has approximately 100 billion neurons! The brain has even got Neurons for taste! This is a picture Of the neurons.

Neurons in the brain Neurons come in many different shapes and sizes. Some of the smallest neurons have cell bodies that are only 4 microns wide. Some of the biggest neurons have cell bodies that are 100 microns wide. (Remember that 1 micron is equal to one thousandth of a millimeter!). Neurons are surrounded by a cell membrane.

Optical illusions Your brain can be tricked a lot especely in the eyes. This is how it happens. See optical illusions websiteoptical illusions website

Parts of the brain You have many parts of your brain, we are surtain about what some do but others not so sure. Here are there names.

NAMES Frontal lobe, its job is your persanality. Hipacampie, its job is memory. And that is all I now!

Good bye Thank you for watching my power point on the brain.
