Key Terms Virtual Work – Work performed in a different geographic location from co-workers (students, faculty, staff) such as virtual (online) learning. Enterprise Technologies- Technologies deployed for use by all workers (students, faculty, staff) in an enterprise (university). Asynchronous learning networks (ALN) – Combined network of learners and the electronic network providing resources available at any time to facilitate information sharing. Communication Tools –Virtual work tools in real time using audio and video such as , VoIP telephony and video, mobile devices such as small phones and tablets. Conferencing Tools – Virtual work tools that enable multiple participants to collaborate in real time using audio and video.
