EVIDENCE FROM RESEARCH SIGNIFICANT ADVANCES ARE BEING MADE IN OUR UNDERSTANDING OF YOUTH CRIME THERE IS AN EMERGING CONSENSUS ON THE CORRELATES AND CAUSES OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN YOUNG PEOPLE THERE IS AN EMERGING CONSENSUS ON THE ATTRIBUTES OF EFFECTIVE PROGRAMMING FOR YOUNG OFFENDERS
