GANTT Charts

What is a GANTT chart? A Gantt chart is a type of bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. Gantt charts illustrate the start and finish dates of the terminal elements and summary elements of a project. Terminal elements and summary elements comprise the work breakdown structure of the project.

What is a GANTT chart? A graphical representation of the tasks and resources needed to complete a job or project; may show ranges of possible start and end dates and the relationships between tasks; used to pinpoint bottlenecks and assign priorities

Why “GANTT”? Henry Laurence Gantt, ( ) was an American mechanical engineer and management consultant who is most famous for developing the Gantt chart in the 1910s.
