There are countless gods and goddesses in ancient Egypt. Some of them are, Osiris, Thoth, Isis, Anubis, Seth, Atum, Path, Re, and Hathor

Re Re is one of the ancient Egypt gods thought to be the god of the sun. Ancient Egyptians think Re is the creator of life on Earth. One of his forms is of him wearing the head of a hawk with a sun disk head dress.

Hathor Hathor is goddess of the sky. One of her forms is a woman with the ears of the cow.

Atum Some ancient Egyptians also believe that Atum was the the first god to exist, and that he was the creator. His form is a man with a double crown.

Seth Seth is the god of chaos. He is the brother of Osiris and Isis. His form is a man with the head of an unidentifiable animal, known as the Seth animal.

Thoth Thoth was the god of the moon and the god of wisdom. One of his forms is a man with the head of an Ibis holding a writing palate.

Osiris Osiris is the god of the underworld. He is the brother/husband of Isis. One of his forms is a mummified man wearing a white cone-like headdress.

These are only some of many gods and goddesses that the ancient Egyptians believed in. The ancient gods and goddesses from Egypt are important in the world today because some Egyptians might still believe in in them and depend on them for understanding the world today.
