August 14, 2013 Summer Institute-Serving Up Breakfast How will school districts compete in the challenge? School districts that increase student average daily participation (ADP) in their school breakfast program by a minimum of 35% between January 2013 and December 2014 will be recognized for their accomplishments. District breakfast ADP as of October 2012 will serve as the baseline data for the Challenge.

August 14, 2013 Summer Institute-Serving Up Breakfast How will school districts compete in the challenge? Districts that meet or exceed the Challenge’s breakfast participation goal and sustain an ADP increase of at least 35% will be acknowledged with Breakfast Challenge awards School districts offering the School Breakfast Program are automatically enrolled in the Challenge. A district may choose to opt out of and private schools can opt in to the Challenge by contacting ESE.
