The purpose of this workshop is to provide you with tools and information that will assist you in the development and implementation of an early-detection monitoring program for quagga and zebra mussels that is coordinated and compatible with other early-detection monitoring programs throughout California and Nevada.

Initiate eradication strategies before Q/Z become well established or widely distributed. Minimize the spread of Q/Z to other waterbodies. Early implementation of management and control actions. Prevention program as required per CA Code 2302.
