Presentation transcript:

 My question Is  How has wind power changed the environment?

 Wind power has changed the environment by no air pollution water pollution and waste for the environment. But has its own harms if not used properly.  One type of thing it can do to the environment is killing birds. Wind turbines can kill a few birds and is the least object that kills birds and people find the birds killed ugly to look at. 

 Wind farms take up very little space which is good for the environment because they’ll have more space to live and grow more food. Wind power is 100 percent clean and renewable but to much wind is bad for wind turbines. The first basic windmill was made in Persia but after some years Holland gave the windmill a propeller.

 Today wind is mostly used to make electricity  when the wind turbines blades turn they produce electricity. Wind turbines can also kill bats but not a lot. Wind power is also less harmful than fossil fuels and nuclear power.

 The old wind turbines were used to pump water and grind grain. Windmills just cant be build anywhere the people who build them have to build them in a place where there is a lot of wind.

 Wind turbines produce electricity. This happens when there blades turn. Other power plants are used to make electricity when wind is not blowing Example fossil plants and nuclear plants.
