The Maryland State Longitudinal Data System is a policy based system designed to answer 15 education-to- education and education-to-work transition, readiness, and effectiveness preparation policy questions. Goal of the Maryland LDS PreK-12 Colleges and Universities Workforce and Training

Governance and State System Development Governance -- MLDS Governing Board includes state education and workforce agencies and other data system stakeholders Policy-driven -- Scope of the project is defined by 15 policy questions developed by critical stakeholders Federated System -- Success is dependent on inter-agency collaboration and support
