Worth the Expense  Running & other fitness- related activities can be much more successful & fun when certain technical equipment is added!  It’s easier to track progress, mileage, training, & incorporate different styles of training by using this type of equipment.

Garmin Forerunner  Garmin watches are extremely beneficial for endurance athletes.  They can assess:  Pace  Distance/mileage  Time  Mile splits  Heart rate  Map/course

Different Types:  These watches range in price due to the range in technology.  A more simple watch with just a GPS location will be less expensive than a watch that has all the possible assessments.
