I NTERNET S AFETY By: Haley & Jullianna

N EVER SHARE PASSWORDS ! Why should you never share passwords? The answer is you should not because even if you have a BFF you cannot always think you can trust him/her. There are people that share passwords and it turns around on them so they wish they could just disappear!

A BROKEN FRIENDSHIP This story is about a girl who thinks she can trust her friend and tell her everything. As you are watching this please think about checking this site out and see for yourself all kinds of different stories. reallife.htm#realfriendship

N EVER S HARE P ASSWORDS -TEST! Why should you never share passwords? a) Because it’s dangerous. b) Your friend could tell someone else. c) All of the above.

A NSWER The answer is c) all of the above because it is true, you can trust your friend and think you can tell them everything. But sometimes you will get carried away and you give your friend your password. Little do you know your friend is wanting to hang out with other kids and he/she accidently gives them your password. Then you and your friend never talk to each other again.

B E C AREFUL O N O NLINE C HAT ! Always be careful on Online Chat rooms because you do not know who you are talking to on the other end. The picture could show a good looking guy around any age and he is really a year old man or woman. And you should also be careful because you do not know if the person you are talking to is a killer even. If you want to know a safe site for chatting online….there is none! So always have a parent with you when you are on a chat room. If you do have a MySpace then watch out for the people who you are talking to. They could say some bad things and then you feel uncomfortable. Always leave the site if someone asks you if you are alone.

M OODLE AND M Y S PACE On Moodle you are on a safe environment. Another reason Moodle is better the MySpace is because you are being watched by teachers and if you say something bad then you can get kicked off of this site. On MySpace you are not watched so you could say whatever you want without care. I think MySpace is bad because you can chat with people and anyone can say something inappropriate, then you could tell the person in charge but they could not even care because you can say ANYTHING you want on that site. MoodleMySpace

O NLINE C HAT S AFETY This story is about a 15 year old girl named Amy who met a man on a chat room and said she would meet him at a private place. Amy was very lonely at the time and had no one to turn to but the man she started talking to told her that she would be happier on his side of the world. The second movie Julie’s story. It is about a girl that met a man that just got out of jail on a chat room. y.htm ie.htm

O NLINE C HAT -TEST! Why should you never do online chat? a) You can schedule to meet someone and get kidnapped so you can never see your parents again. b) You can meet the person and go out and have a picnic. c) You can meet the person and he/she will buy you ice-cream.

A NSWER The answer is (a) because you should never want to meet someone at ALL if you met them on online chat, you do not know if they are nice like they are on chat or if they are a thief and they have just gotten out of jail. Then you find out he/she has come to take you away so you can never see your parents or friends EVER AGAIN!

W HAT KIND OF ONLINE CHAT ROOMS THERE ARE.
