What do people do to protect themselves from bad luck.

Now it’s interesting to know what do you do to protect yourself from bad luck.  Do you touch wood?  Do you cross fingers?  Do you wear a charm?  Do you kill a spider?  Do you hate the number 13?  Do you have a horseshoe over the door?  Do you look for a fourleaf clover?  Do you say “white rabbit” on the first day of the month?  Have you ever seen two magpies?  Do you believe that black cats are lucky?
