About ADHC Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) is one of the largest human services organisations in NSW, employing more than 12,000 people and providing support and services to more than one million older people, people with a disability and their carers. We support older people and people with a disability to live in their own homes and participate in community life.

 early intervention programs for children and young people  accommodation in group homes and residential centres  programs that develop independent living skills  flexible respite services  information and advocacy services  help for people with a disability to actively participate in communities through social groups, work and other activities  promoting healthy ageing through programs like NSW Seniors Card and NSW Seniors Week. Our regions and business streams Our services are delivered to the people of NSW in six geographic regions – Metro North, Metro South, Hunter, Northern, Western and Southern. Vacancies are located in all regions in group homes, residential centres, respite units, community support teams and in clients’ homes.

Our staff ADHC requires a large, diverse and skilled workforce to deliver our services. ADHC staff are employed in a range of roles in the fields of Disability Work Nursing Home and Community Care Community Access and Case Management Therapy Frontline and senior management Policy, Support and Administration

Disability Work ADHC employs over 3,000 staff as Disability Support Workers (DSWs) Normally work in group homes with clients providing assistance with daily living and community participation Entry level is unqualified, however applicants can enter qualified or undertake a traineeship to gain Certificate III, Disability Work Career paths include coordinators and managers of accommodation services, frontline workplace trainers, systems development and support services.

Home and Community Care The NSW Home Care Service employs over 3,000 staff as Care Workers Provide domestic and personal care assistance to support clients to remain independent in their own homes Entry is unqualified, however can undertake a traineeship to gain Certificate III Home and Community Care Career path includes Service Coordinator and Branch Manager

Nursing Employ Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing in Large Residential Centres and specialist supported living group homes. Traineeships available for Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing Range of career pathways to Clinical Nurse Educator, Nurse Learning and Development Officer, Nurse Manager

Therapy Employ Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists in Community Support Teams and Large Residential Centres Entry is pre- qualified, and as per registration and/or professional body requirements

Other Careers ADHC also employs –Psychologists –Case Managers –Contract and Purchasing Officers –Policy and Project Officers –Service Support and Trades staff in Large Residential Centres –Behaviour Support Specialists
