Vorlage Racing Club The Vorlage Racing Club is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing young athletes (ages 6 to 17) with the skills and opportunity to ski race in a safe, fun and challenging environment. The Vorlage Racing Club is a member of the Outaouais Ski Zone. Our athletes compete throughout western Quebec, eastern Ontario and the Laurentians. Vorlage Racing Club produces competitive athletes – many who have progressed and competed at provincial and national levels. The club attracts and retains some of the most respected and recognized coaches. The club is growing in size and popularity and continues to increase the number of athletes registered in its competitive programs. The number of athletes has grown by more than 40% since The VRC enjoys a positive and supportive relationship with ski hill owner, D. Saunders

Athlete Equipment and Retail Patterns U14-U18 athletes need equipment for GS and SL (2 sets of skis, 2 sets of poles, shin guards, body armor, chin guards, race boots, race helmets). U12 athletes need equipment for SL (1 or 2 sets of skis, 2 sets of poles, shin guards, chin guards, race boots, race helmets). U10 and NG athletes need equipment for SL (1 set of skis, poles, boots, race helmets). Some athletes in older age categories may have up to 5 skis as they might have “slip skis” and “race skis” as well as Super G skis. Many U14-U18 VRC athletes return to specific SL professional staff for custom boot-fitting and equipment – namely, Chris Powers, Jamie and Tom Macdonald.
