 The SSA was first established on August 14, 1935; created by Franklin D. Roosevelt.  It was also first known as the Social Security Board (SSB). -Security-Administration-Plaque%20M.jpg

 The purpose of the SSA was to support the elderly, disabled and the unemployed. f2.jpg

 The SSA board members consisted of :  John G. Winant (chairman)  Arthur J. Altmeyer (member and chairman)  Vincent E.Miles  George E. Bigge  Mary W. Dewson  Ellen S.Woodward

 The SSA was not involved in any creations or projects that I could find but its own program was life changing.

 The SSA was very effective, this program helps millions of people. ogo.png
