  In the broadcast media a presenter is the person who hosts, narrates, or otherwise takes the main role in narrating or hosting a radio programme or a TV programme.  A television presenter is a person who introduces or hosts television programmes, including factual documentaries, live events and sport.  Broadly speaking, a radio presenter (often, especially in American English, radio personality) is the same as a television presenter, except that they present radio programmes instead of television programmes.

 1. The Coach: Is an energetic speaker, who’s great at connecting and engaging people by doing and role-playing. They are better live than recorded. They usually are very passionate about the topic and let that shine through. The Coach can quickly lose passion and enthusiasm with a low energy audience. They have a tendency to talk more than listen and may move too quickly for the audience. 2.The Inventor: They are typically the last person to volunteer to make a public presentation, the Inventor is very good at connecting ideas for people and building logical sequences. The Inventor has difficulty holding large quantities of information in their head. They can get stuck searching for just the right word and worry about forgetting something important. 3.The Counsellor: An eloquent speaker who likes to talk about ideas. The Counsellor has an accurate and organized talk track, and a relentless stream of logic that’s easy to follow. They can move easily between big picture and detail. They can make the same presentation to an empty room as a large audience. They may fail to connect to and engage with the audience and can be very dry and clinical. They tend to use big words where they aren’t required. 4.The Storyteller: A natural storyteller who speaks with feeling and rhythm. They can win an audience over easily and they use powerful and emotive words typically organized around what needs to get done. They add depth and detail through story and experience. By adding detail to the story, they can lose the structure and flow for the audience. They prefer to have another host with them to bounce off of. 5.The Teacher: They can easily get complex ideas across. They use a lot of figures of speech and metaphors. They are well structured speakers, who have the ability to carry a long talk-track in their head. They cares more about their material than the people in the audience. They may inadvertently disconnect from their audience, missing non-verbal cues and become distant. 6.The Coordinator: Prefers to be in the audience rather than the presenter, they nevertheless give organized, well- structured presentations, moving and gesturing as they speak. Their slides are visually meticulous and trigger a well thought out talk-track. They are less comfortable speaking and they are not comfortable working off others material. Types of Presenters

  Ellen Lee DeGeneres (born January 26, 1958) is an American comedian, television presenter, actress, writer, and television producer. She was the star in the popular sitcom Ellen from 1994 to 1998 and has presented her talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show since DeGeneres has hosted the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, and the Primetime Emmys. She has authored three books, and started her own record company, Eleveneleven. She has won 13 Emmys, 14 People’s Choice Awards, and numerous other awards for her work and charitable efforts.  Ellen is known for her masculine wardrobe as she is always sporting a shirt and trousers to reflect her sexuality. She has a classic American accent and a very distinct voice. An important aspect to her show is the comedy element that she adds to make it more entertaining. Ellen keeps her voice neutral as she speaks to celebrities although she can be very enthusiastic and excited. Ellen is generally a happy person and makes her guests feel at ease as she greets them warmly with a hug or kiss. Ellen always takes an interest in everything the guest says to her and nods along, asking unique questions and not typical interview questions. The stage set-up is very plain and simple as it is just two chairs and a coffee table. There is a projector behind the chairs where Ellen can show pictures of whatever it is the guest is talking about. There is a studio audience during every show which makes the reactions more realistic.  Ellen DeGeneres
