I can assess the importance of the different types of tourism and how they are measured. I am aware of the reasons for the differences. Types of leisure break 1. Beach holiday Main purpose is to relax on a beach. E.g, Cancun or Benidorm. Many have bars and nightclubs to cater for younger tourists (i.e. Ayia Napa in Cyprus).

Types of holiday… Package holiday: a holiday in which travel and accommodation are put together by a tour operator and sold as a relatively cheap package Mass tourism: The large scale mass movement of tourists to popular destinations, often promoted through package holidays.

Types of leisure break City break Low cost flights are available to many cities in Europe to see the heritage for a weekend, Mainly tend to be couples for short periods of time. Activity holiday For travelers who want to learn new skills. Could be relaxing like learning to paint or cook, or something adventurous like caving or white water rafting.

Types of lesiure break Health tourism A holiday that includes some kind of health treatment. Could be a trip to health spa or for medical purposes e.g. cheaper plastic surgery in Cape Town, South Africa. Heritage and cultural tourism Traveling to visit important buildings from the past e.g. castles or Hindu temples in Sri Lanka
