Presentation transcript:

Technology is the use of human knowledge to make the world faster and easier for everyone. Technology is growing everyday and we are starting to use it for almost everything. Technology is everywhere! Some examples are: -cell phone -computers -transportation

Cars were started to be invented because people got tired of walking. They wanted a faster and easier way to get from place to place. The people who invented cars knew that cars would be the next big thing and that they everyone would want to get one since they were the “new thing.”

One of the first early forms of transportation was horses. They used horses to go everywhere and everyone had one. Besides using the horses for transportation they also used them for horseback riding for fun.

Cars were first invented in the late 1800’s. This was a really big invention because there was never anything like this before. They used horses and walking before cars for transportation. In 1905 gasoline cars were more popular than steam or electric cars because they were easier to use and could travel further without adding fuel.

Everyone wanted a car as soon as they came out. People wanted one because it was a new thing and it would be easier to get around. It was faster than walking or riding horses.

One negative impact that cars had on technology is that the cars run on gas. That’s bad because cars would use a lot of gas and that’s one reason why gas prices are so high today. Some cars today run off other things beside gas but most run on.
